Here’s the lineup I’d like to see for Game 2:

Forwards

Miller-Pettersson-Boeser

Ferland-Horvat-Virtanen

Pearson-Sutter-Toffoli

Motte-Beagle-Eriksson

 

-Reunite Petey and Brock. 

-Time to unleash Jake. 
-Reunite Pearson and Toffoli. Gaudette looked lost in Game 1. Need Sutter for face offs. 

-We need Eriksson on the Penalty Kill to help shutdown Minnesota’s Power Play that lit us up on Sunday. 

Defense

Hughes-Tanev

Edler-Stecher

OJ-Myers
 

-OJ played well against Winnipeg and Fantenburg was a bit of an adventure in Game 1.

In Net

Markstrom

 

-Played decent but needs to lock it down for us to have a chance. No more softies.

I've definitely supported Green, and I acknowledge that he has way more information than we do, but who in their right mind leaves off a 20goal scorer in a playoff series?! Virt has to be in for game 2 and I think Green knows this. My vitriol for Pearson has cooled over the last 24 hours.. I would be fine with either one of Roussel or Gaudette sitting for JV.
