Will Makar win the Calder simply because his team has a better chance at winning the cup? I can imagine writers feeling like idiots if Colorado won and they didn't vote for Makar. Is this a possibility?

Who’s one prospect you’re really disappointed he never panned out? For me it’s Hunter Shinkaruk. Dude had sweet hands and was overall really good when he was drafted.

For me it is Hodgson. It was a poorly timed trade by Gillis and Kassian obviously didn't work out. Hodgson provided us secondary scoring in 2012 that vanished after he was dealt, Keith concusses Daniel, we lose to the eventual cup winner in LA Kings.
Honourable Mention: Anton Rodin (round 2) and Gaunce (much like AJ I feel we gave up on him 1 year too early).
