  1. Bloom with the 2nd assist to open the scoring in game 2.
  2. I'm going to try and be patient with Jett. I keep reminding myself that KB3, the player I see as the best possible outcome for Woo, didn't play his first NHL game until age 24. The season starting this coming fall will be Woo's 23 year old season, so he still has time to improve, make the team and turn into an impactful player (hopefully). I also remind myself to remind myself (Inception lol) that if we are lucky enough for him to develop in to a player that actually makes the team, that KB3's first ten games resulted in a stat line of 1 assist and -6 with 15:24 ATOI. So I'm not going to expect too much of him too soon if he makes it.
  3. 2014-15 season when Jack Eichel led NCAA scoring with 71 points as a first time draft eligible freshman would be the most recent direct comparable to what Fantilli is doing. Also Kyle Connor in 2015-16 with 71 points but he was already drafted and a year older when he entered NCAA.
  4. And I'm pretty sure him signing an NHL ELC and burning his first year, instead of an AHL deal and starting his ELC next season will make him ineligible for the AHL playoffs this spring.
  5. Currently he's 4th in scoring among all U19 Dmen in the OHL. Not bad for a 7th rounder.
  6. Actually because McDonough's Bday is after Sept. 15th he will still be considered as a 23 year old and can sign a 2 year ELC this spring. Livingstone, on the other hand, has his Bday before that date so he will be considered a 24 year old and only eligible to sign a 1 year ELC. That year will burn as soon as he plays an NHL game this season and then have to renegotiate with him as an RFA this off season.
  7. Not sure why you have Kravtsov as a C. He's taken 5 faceoffs in his NHL career and lost all of them.
  8. I really think they are sleeping on Reinbacher. Although these are the same people that had Seider at 27th in their final rankings for 2019
  9. Lockhart with a goal and an assist tonight.
  10. All the trades aside, and whether or not the other teams would accept them, the biggest issue I see on this list is that Jake Livingstone will be considered as a 24 year old when he signs his ELC this spring. That means that his contract can only be a 1 year deal.
  11. Really not sure why any team would be interested in trading away literally the best blue line puck distributor in the league.
  12. Lekkerimaki with a foot injury in practice. Expected to be out 8 weeks. Quote from Swedish Article: Jonathan Lekkerimäki har ådragit sig en skada i samband med måndagens träning. Forwarden genomgick under gårdagen en undersökning, som visade på en skada i foten med beräknad frånvaro på åtta veckor. Translation: Jonathan Lekkerimäki has sustained an injury in connection with Monday's training. The forward underwent an examination yesterday, which showed an injury in the foot with an estimated absence of eight weeks. 13. McDonough's ELC will be for 2 years as he will be 23 when he signs it.
  14. Lekkerimaki with no points but did score the only goal in the shootout to win the game for Djurgärdens.
  15. May not be all bad. If it ends up top 12 this year and then NYI keeps it then typically it becomes an unprotected the next year and 2024 is deep in high end D prospects
  16. The quote below also touches on the stuff I didn't mention. This is why he deleted Twitter. Plus the way he very publicly handled the OEL situation in Arizona. Not saying OEL didn't need an eye opening but Tocchet handled it so poorly and showed what kind of person he is.
  17. How about running an illegal sports gambling ring while he working as an assistant coach under Gretzky. He plead guilty and got two years probation. That was enough to get Pete Rose banned from the MLB and the Hall of Fame.
  18. I'm going to go against the grain here on CDC and look at these hires in a positive light. Too much negativity on here and around this team lately. First, Tocchet is a terrible human and coach. What he has done very consistently over his career as a head coach though is reward whatever franchise hires him with consistently high draft picks. Second, Foote has a very limited and mediocre track record as a head coach and the only reason he seems to of done it is so he could coach his son in the WHL, and who among us wouldn't take that opportunity if it presented itself. He does seem to have a decent record as a development coach for the Avs, which will hopefully work out well with all the young talent we get from the high picks Tocchet gets for us. Third, Gonchar was a defensive coach for the Pens when they won back to back Stanley Cups in 2016 and 2017. That includes when he managed to win with a playoff defensive group consisting of Schultz, Cole, Daley, Dulomin, Maatta and Hainsey. So maybe he can actually teach a few of our defensemen and, maybe a even some forwards, to play proper defense. I mean, someone has to.
