Just got billed for an automatically renewing year of SN Now+. When I asked if I could cancel, they simply told me they don't do refunds. So now I'm out $300 bucks. EDIT: They apparently have given me a refund now. We'll see if it goes through.

Roster just is not that great and now it's getting exposed. Third in the NHL in shots allowed. The D group that Benning assembled is simply not good enough and for that he should be fired in the offseason. You can point to coaching but bottom line is this is Benning's second coach and no GM has missed the playoffs this long in franchise history. At the cap with no picks in the first two rounds - too many costly mistakes. How much longer are we going to let Benning learn on the job? How many head coaches does he need to go through? Hughes was a gift, picture this roster without him, it's downright scary. Like I said before - too many mistakes.

It's not the players, its the D zone system. They simply don't go and get the puck like they do in the other two zones of the ice. They collapse, and spin, and give the other team the entire perimeter. If the Canucks collapse, its giving the other teams a mini powerplay. The only game in recent memory where they flipped the switch and puck pressured was vs Boston. Baumgartner has to be canned.

Feel like Green has no concept of how to coach the top six. Every single line plays a hard nosed bottom six style of hockey. When I watch Horvat he's playing like he's still with Dorsett and Kassian.

The TV is on it’s way out. The logo hardly shows when turning it on and then goes blank. You know what that means... A new and bigger TV to watch Hockey on! I must shop after Hot Yoga.

Its not easy to diagnose, as you need to follow traces to where the current is dying.
Someone though probably knows how to fix it near you.
And then you need a soldering iron to unstick and restick the replacement.
Youtube the symptoms (not the brand) and you will see what I mean.
Because there's a picture, but its not great, it's something minor.

Hopefully Benning is looking hard at acquiring Brenden Dillon. The defense could stand to be a little harder to play against, and Dillon would fill that role nicely.

Any suggestions for a good place to buy a mountain bike (a moderately priced one...not more than $500 or so)? Want to start looking now for Spring/Summer. I have a great frame (Marin) so may just get that fixed if it makes more sense...been outside awhile though, so a new one might be a better option.

It still irritates me so much when people call the Sedins "soft". They were far from bruisers but they didn't shy away from contact and winning those loose puck battles in the corners.
How can these people ignore all the hacking/slashing/crosschecking that these guys continuously endured in the corner for their entire career while they looked to create offense for our team? They brought us 1 win away from a Stanley Cup with their blood, sweat and tears. In hindsight I do wish that Daniel had crosschecked the rat in the face, it wouldn't have made him any tougher but at least it would not have given many of these ingrates the opportunity to look down upon everything the Sedins did for this franchise.
