Some guy on 650 just said DiPietro is a better athlete than Demko. Also said DiPietro (more likely) will be out future #1.

Just found out EK is a shark... with EK, CM97, the Flames, Kings, and VGK in the division we are in really tough..... but maybe this is for the best. Jack Hughes is a possibility and our young guys will learn quickly.

@Zoolander, it isn't "when" with Kings....they are in full on decline that will continue next year. Ducks could be there as soon as next season as well. Knights will take a step back - the question is how much.

@Cramarossaand others - great you are talking about it - even on an anonymous board. I played with two guys that all outward appearances were the happiest guys in the world - one is no longer on this planet by his own hand and the other one is somewhere in Ontario and likely either drunk or high and running out of couches to crash on given when he gets "bad", he is so removed from reality he doesn't bathe, brush teeth or even change his clothes for days and days.
Realize that there are people who either love you are care deeply about you and open up to as many of them as you feel you can. Sharing depression is hard but I know I would loved to have helped either of my former teammates if ever asked as I learned about both long after we lost touch. Help is there. I also know that the last thing you need to hear is that "don't worry, it will get better" so I won't go there - will just say, the more you share your burden with others, perhaps the load will be just a wee bit lighter.
Sending you positive thoughts and crossing fingers the excitement of the young Canuck team you get to watch this coming season will be something that gives you sun on days when you have a hard time finding some in your soul.

i was out cutting my neighbour's grass with my rid-em-mower. got too close to her car and ripped her back bumper off. another neighbour came over and snapped it back.
though some damage, it looks normal. she is happy anyway. i'm such a dim bulb.

One of those nights I guess. Went to bed at midnight and no sleep so far over 5 hours into the night. Just giving up at this point with less than two hours before my alarm. Might be an interesting day at work...

Summer on CDC - not sure what it worse, those bashing the team even though it has yet to play a game or those comparing young players and prospects who have not even played a single NHL game to GOAT (Orr) or HHOF locks. Both are essentially trolling the board but somehow the latter is almost more annoying.

Is Steve Dangle too stupid or too ignorant to realize what the Canucks are doing? He should just stick to Leafs coverage because he is horrible at covering other teams. BTW Leaf fans think the Beagle and Roussel are 2 Matt Martins. ARE THEY THICK?

Nylander, Horton for Tanev and 2018 3rd?

Tanev's value is skyhigh right now given the dearth of UFA Dmen, his age, his contract AAV and his underlying stats in terms of defensive play. My guess is Benning will have LOTS of offers this summer and will not need to listen to any that don't blow his doors off as by next TDL teams like the Leafs and their upcoming CAP h*ll will be looking for players like Tanev and willing to give up even more than Nylander.
