  1. Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde called . . . they want their reputation back!
  2. I for one am not convinced he really wants to be here and if not that is ok with me. The last thing this team needs is someone with an attitude.
  3. Are like . . . the Fat Lady without a warm up!
  4. What Horvat really needs to do is look in the mirror and be seriously pissed off. Forget about the "we" need to be better bullsh!t. He needs to say I failed to contain my opponent and that led to a goal. I screwed up and I need to play better. Take ownership of this crap, lead by example and challenge to other guys to get their stuff together or pack it in.
  5. Total BS. Guys have to take their man. I am going to scream the next time I see a player on the ice just watching the game. Tonight they were losers.
  6. This is semi-related and made me laugh at the time. Short story, our VP was due to hold a meeting in an old residence on campus and required wifi connectivity. We made it happen on time and what I found humourous was the fact we had to wire the house to make it wireless.
  7. Hope this is not old news, just saw an article in a newsletter from the publication Fast Company. Below is the first paragraph of that story for information. If interested you can read the full story at Fast Company's Compass newsletter. Please forgive this techno-illiterate for not attaching a direct link to the published article. Free public transit, what a concept. In 2021, Seattle will have a new hockey team. And when hockey fans head to a game at the new arena where the team will play, they could choose to sit in some traffic on the freeway and pay for parking downtown, or they could hop on a bus or light rail—completely free of charge. NHL Seattle (the team doesn’t have a name yet) will be the third sports franchise in the country to offer free public transit to those going to games, as a way to ease traffic congestion in the city, increase access for fans, and do something good for the environment.
  8. The Oil and the Flamers have both made some moves that should put them a better position for the playoffs. The stretch drive just got more competitive. Bring it on!
  9. Thanks, but no thanks. Simmonds and Subban have both passed their best before dates.
  10. Good morning Joe, I think one of our current defensemen will need to be traded. Also hope Jimbo can do anything to move at least one of Erickson or Baertschi.
  11. I am not smart enough to be an NHL coach, but seeing Green's post-game comments makes me think he doesn't have the right stuff to coach this team to success. IMHO his attitude says everything and it is reflected in how the boys played tonight. Not impressed and unitl there is more effort on a consistent basis he will be my number one reason for failure.
  12. If my read of the conference standings is right and the playoofs started tomorrow the Canucks would play the Oil in the first round. Hopefully we can get our stuff together and put some distance between us.
  13. Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde called, they want their reputation back!
  14. Someone much smarter than I said somehting like this, when a person shows you who they are believe them. Kassian is an idiot.
  15. Unfortunately Kassian isn't the type who learns lessons naturally he has to be force fed the information over time. Some say he plays the game on the borderline, others simply say he's dumb, both fit.
  16. I'm thinking the Canucks have won the balance of trades with the Penguins.
  17. That is a really decent looking bottom six in my opinion. Hope the boys watch out for Panarin, he is on fire for the Blueshirts.
  18. I for one appreciate the personality of our team right more than the attitude of McDick and Dr. Drai.
  19. First hockey game I attended was actually the Vancouver Blazers at the Pacific Coliseum. Then got to watch the Canucks from the press box with my friend from Labatts.
  20. Wow, "witch hunt" now thats an interesting choice of phrase.
  21. When are teams going understand McDick and Drai will pass to each other nine out of 10 times specially on the ower play. I may be naive but why not assign your fastest skaters and best defenders to shadow them. Let the other 2 defenders deal with the three other players. If you contain McDick and Drai you hav, simple yete a decent chance to win. It seems obvious, a simple strategy yet teams continue to follow the puck and leave one or the other open for shots. I am willing to bet such an approach would nmakle a difference.
  22. If the good guys do nothing else they need to pay close attention to McDick. I realize that may easier said than done, but his goal last night was due to Edler watching the puck rather than the player. If you do all you can to neutralize McDick and Drai you have a excellent chance to win the game. GCG!
  23. I was at the game, row 18 in the good guys end. Excellent game, Marky was awesome and the boys played a strong defensive game. Big win tonight, onto the rematch. One thing we have to learn is to always watch McDick, forget about the puck keep your eyes on the player. Cheers!
