    You need big skilled players like VIrtanen to make room for smaller guys, we were in no position to draft Ehlers because who would support him? Winnipeg however is a big, heavy team which creates room for the smaller guys

    Only game I watched today was a Gladbach and Schalke replay, honestly a super fluid, end-to-end game really entertaining to watch. Raffael is awesome, been an excellent pickup for Gladbach, I thought Korb also played very well throughout the whole game, I think I am going to get into the Buli more now that Sportsnet has fairly decent coverage for it.

      With the way that Jagr has been playing, not only do I think it's possibly he could get to the 2k points club but I feel like he's the only guy who has a legitimate chance of breaking Gordie Howe's "oldest man to play professional hockey" record... or at the very least overtake Chris Chelios to be second on the list.

    Brisebois is a good example where statsheets do not always tell the full story. He is eating up big minutes in all situations, his team may not be very good but playing a keyrole can only be good for his development
