    Literally all of Baer's NHL Rate and Possession Metrics (Corsi and Fenwick) are on the positive side of the spectrum while pretty much all of Schaller's are worse or negative.

      I agree Baer is a better player, I don't think anyone is arguing but Schaller is more of a bottom 6 type player. Baer isn't. Schaller plays on the pk. That is why he is up. Has nothing to do with other stats

    I like Sven but if he gets one more concussion he's done. It's a bad idea to put your hopes on what he can be when it's one little pop and he's gone forever.

      But you shouldn't base what you do with a player with what might happen. Any player can have a career or season ending injury. Send Ericsson down and if Baer gets injured call him up or someone else who has been impressing in the Ahl.

    Canucks should consider bringing over Rodrigo Abols from Sweden. 6'5 195lbs 18 goals 8 assist in 44 games in top tier Sweden. The Canucks only hold his rights for one more year I think.

      I never have but I've thought about it, I don't really have many big hockey fan friends so if I want to go I've always bought my friends ticket too because I know they wouldn't spend that kind of money for it but that gets expensive haha but I've also thought about messaging people on here and just seeing if I could get a group to go with or something or other people that have the same problem that I do and don't really have anyone to go with.

    If I was an all star like Crosby, McDavid etc. I'd so take a discount so my team could acquire other star players. Sure they deserve that much, but honestly McDavid could take 8 million a year. He is in a Canadian Market and could make millions in ads/ endorsements.

      I would as well..  I mean say he does 10 mill a year instead of 12 mill over 8 years that's 80mill. Do you really need more than that? But then they could afford a player that cost 6mill a year instead of 4 mill, generally, that's a pretty big difference in a player.
