IMO, there was no offense committed period! No offense to your wording Hefty, but that is the point. Let's consider, what if a group of 6 year old's studying 1st nations art, were asked to draw Totem Pole. Is that an Offense?
What if the class was in grade 6? would that be an offense then? What about University students? NO, it would be of none malicious intent.
Then I think about Japanese calligraphy, which you can take classes for. Is it an offense? NO!
There is no issue here, IMO
And those that complained should be embarrassed, for saying so.
All native North Americans came over the Alaskan land bridge, out of Asia, their ancestors came out of Africa, the same place that northern Europeans came out of. This is the problem with this world now, every one calls racism, then demands to be a exclusive race of people. We are one people..........
So, I just don't get it!

The are so many people that respond to any thing that "offends" them. I do not get it. This was an homage to first nations people and culture. To infer that one can not paint/carve/sculpt an art form, is ridiculous.
To my first nation brothers and sisters, do not take life so seriously, that you can not recognize when someone is honoring you.
Art is shared, and celebrated, and copied, through out the world. Art forms have moved north to south and east to west for millennia, away because some culture liked what another culture had perfected.
You can take art classes in many art forms, in any city, in any nation of the world.
I find this whole issue sad, and not an appropriate way for any family to be welcomed into a community.
I recognize this may offend some people, and I am sorry, it is not my intention, but all people are becoming too sensitive, and do not practice tolerance.

So according to NHL21, Ilya Kovalchuk has signed with the Canucks.
My son and I started a new season with the Canucks last night and he scored two goals on the Bolts and was the first star. Looks like he's a keeper

What a roller coaster of a week. Had interviews/testing/and other meetings scheduled and in between it all Dad got violently ill (stomach, not covid). Was rushed to ER by ambulance (still in there)...just got back from seeing him.
What a time to be starting a new job...have had about 6 hours sleep in the past 48.

So I have an idea for if the season resumes and plays beyond June 30th (when ufa and rfa contracts expire). Would it make more sense to either push free agency back to whenever the playoffs end? Or just give expiring ufa/rfa contracts one added year and keep the salary cap the same?

Eriksson and Myers
Eriksson because of age and contribution and Myers because of ability and length of contract
IMO, although Eriksson contributes defensively, he can be replaced for 1/3 the amount, by a player already in the system. Myers gives us depth, but the length of his contract, as well as the amount per year, is too costly.
