hes earning his pay cheque now. this is how we need him to always play. Do we dare put daniel on 2nd line and not ruin that chemistry or is jensen get bumped down due to rookie status and hasnt earned the ice?

either way good to see #14 start to score

He is a spark plug for this team. It's why he got the dollars he does, it's why he gets the minutes... And I think that him slumping had an errant effect on the team too, they all have a tonne of respect for him and it was like a voodoo curse on them when he's misfiring.

It may benefit the team and the canucks to separate the sedins. Burrows work, Henriks passing and jensens rifle, seems to be working well. And then you get the sniper Kesler has needed all along in Daniel, and give them the versatile Higgins. Not bad top six.

Still smirking at all the people actually saying we should buy him out.

Even if Burrows never scored over 20 goals again, he's still worth 4.5 for his 2-way play. But he looks to be more than a 20-goal scorer still, now that he's on a roll again.

Looking forward to next year even more...

Burrows is the heart and soul of this team. He is the spark that gets the team rolling. Alex has had a terrible year with injuries. It was obvious he was not playing up to his level. All too many were ready to get rid of him while he is still in his prime. Those who advocated trading him know nothing about rehab and how it relates to hockey. A 30 goal scorer just doesn't fall off the map with his point production without there being a justifiable cause. The same applies to the Sedins as well.

Some fans need a serious wake up call when it comes to tolerance, patience and understanding. Unfortunately, injuries and some type of psychological problem has/have plagued this time since January and unless you understand the logistics of a team, impatience raises it's ugly head. The problems have to be understood and worked through. They just don't fix themselves like some may believe.
