Only if we need players that play with the passion and determination that he gives on every shift, so in short YES we do need him! The work ethic that Burrows brings game after game cannot be replaced cheaply or easily without taking a chance of undermining the team chemistry that we have right now. If Burrows had of slipped into ufa status he would have been offered far more money from any of the other 29 teams that would give their left testicle to steal a player like him from us. Some CDC posters undervalue our own players, then moan when they sign somewhere else and come back to bite us in the butt. Gillis did a great job extending Burrows before the off-season ufa feeding frenzy priced him out of our reach! Personally i'd rather have any of the guys that are fighting for a spot on the team rather than Burrows. He can't score IMOP he's an embarrassment to the team. Who cares! Anyone can do this thats fighting for a spot. He can't score and i'm tired of kesler carrying this guy on his back night after night, I'm tired of him losing the puck, falling down everywhere seriously this guy falls down a hundred times a night can't he skate its ridiculous, stupid penalties its endless. "He plays with grit" is another common description tossed out when his name comes up. That ok sure he pisses off guys but fails to do really be able finish that job off by being able to fight because he can't. IMOP he's an embarrassment to the team. Please Gillis let this guy go keep Krog or Pettinger or Brown whoever. let er rip. He's not playing with Kesler... for the last 10 games. He has 12 points in his last 12 games... find me one other PPG player at $550,000 a year... or even $2M a year. He falls down cause he's trying to hit a guy 1.5 times his size... he never backs down. 10 bucks says you fall down getting out of your lazy boy, nobody hates on you for it, you're just trying to get the the dorito's. Why should he fight? If you eant to see not fighting, how bout hordichuk? o'brein? IMO, you're an embarrassment to the fans. Pettinger? Brown? They've been gone forever!! Wake up.
