Dogbyte
Sorry buddy your wrong, a lot of people here of CDC are interested in his information. Although I do agree with you on everything else, his information is mostly illegitimate. It is interesting, that's why 26,000 people follow him! Edler's Mind Tricks
If a lockout happens, this could be a great signing. I highly doubt he will be effective in the playoffs after 82 games. After 40-50? Sure! Keep him playing limited minutes and he can be our penner.

CanucksinVic
We're not gonna carry a 25 man roster, though. Trade Luongo for a solid prospect or 2, sign Arnott and Doan, waive or demote Raymond, Volpatti and Kassian. Then a roster could look something like this: CAPGEEK.COM USER GENERATED ROSTER Doan Arnott FORWARDS Daniel Sedin ($6.100m) / Henrik Sedin ($6.100m) / Alexandre Burrows ($2.000m) David Booth ($4.250m) / Ryan Kesler ($5.000m) / Shane Doan ($6.000m) Chris Higgins ($1.900m) / Jason Arnott ($2.000m) / Jannik Hansen ($1.350m) Manny Malhotra ($2.500m) / Maxim Lapierre ($1.000m) / Dale Weise ($0.615m) Andrew Ebbett ($0.600m) / DEFENSEMEN Dan Hamhuis ($4.500m) / Kevin Bieksa ($4.600m) Alexander Edler ($3.250m) / Jason Garrison ($4.600m) Keith Ballard ($4.200m) / Chris Tanev ($0.900m) Andrew Alberts ($1.225m) / Derek Joslin ($0.700m) GOALTENDERS Cory Schneider ($4.000m) Dan Ellis ($1.500m) ------ CAPGEEK.COM TOTALS (follow @capgeek on Twitter) (these totals are compiled without the bonus cushion) SALARY CAP: $70,200,000; CAP PAYROLL: $68,890,000; BONUSES: $0 CAP SPACE (23-man roster): $1,310,
Edlerberry
don't forget the fact that with Kesler being on long-term, that will also free up cap space, especially with him missing pretty much half the season.

FullMetalOilDrum
I'm not sure if the Canucks need to make anymore signings this off season. They don't need Arnott because they are strong enough at center. If they decide to trade Lou, they may need a new backup goalie. Thats about it. WHL rocks
I'm glad we agree then. When they put him on the list of illegitimate legitimate sources, I'll think about it, but until then you can be interested in his 'information' all you want anywhere but here. BCRenegade
would love to have this guy even as great depth once Kes comes back i would offer at least 1.4 though
DESCHNEID
Lowball offer. I'm not saying Arnott is the be all end all type but this guys is worth more than a measly 1 million. He has size, skill, leadership qualities. Easily worth 2+ mill per Insult offer from Canucks. Another reason why we haven't landed any worthwhile free agents yes I'm talking specifically Doan

Bodee
I honestly think you can't go wrong adding vets like Arnott or Doan; they both bring great leadership qualities and both have size which is exactly what we're lacking. I know we're trying to get younger, but Arnott could probably be signed on a 1-year deal. Arnott at a cheap price would make sense, no doubt. With Kesler out til December, Arnott can fill in on the 2nd line C role and when Kes returns, he slides down onto the third line. IF we could add both Arnott & Doan, I really like our chances this year. Sedin - Sedin - Burrows Booth - Kesler - Doan Higgins - Arnott - Hansen Malhotra - Lapierre - Kassian // Weise Hamhuis - Bieksa Edler - Garrison Ballard - Tanev Schneider Lack/UFA Goalie It also means we could carry extra centers which is a good thing, in crucial face-offs we could throw an extra out on the ice in case one gets waived out on the draw.
