BieksaSedin
I honestly think we have seen Jannik Hansen's last game as a Canuck. I feel as if Jensen is ready to step into that role as the 3rd line winger. Leaving no room for Hansen anywhere. I have 0 idea who he might be traded for ( my best guess would be a 3rd round pick maybe) But I just can not see Hansen on the 4th line and the 1st and 2nd line are pretty much set in stone. With that being said. Our 3rd line looks big young and mean. Jordan S. Sent down to AHL to fully develop Everything else is pretty minor Daniel Sedin ($6.100m) / Henrik Sedin ($6.100m) / Alexandre Burrows ($4.500m) David Booth ($4.250m) / Ryan Kesler ($5.000m) / Chris Higgins ($2.500m) Zack Kassian ($0.870m) / Brendan Gaunce ($1.057m) / Nicklas Jensen ($0.863m) Tom Sestito ($0.750m) / Brad Richardson ($1.150m) / Dale Weise ($0.750m) Steve Pinizzotto ($0.600m) / DEFENSEMEN Alexander Edler ($5.000m) / Kevin Bieksa ($4.600m) Jason Garrison ($4.600m) / Dan Hamhuis ($4.500m) Chris Tanev ($2.200m) / Frank Corrado ($0.599m) Yannick Weber ($0.650m) / Andrew Alberts ($0.900m) GOALTENDERS Roberto Luongo ($5.333m) Eddie Lack ($0.750m) ANY THOUGHTS? canucks#01fan
Hansen is one of the hardest workers on the team, gives it 100% every shift. Has a scoring touch too. Perfect 3rd liners.

PlayStation
Third on the team in points last season folks... He had a great year last year? What are people on?
Magikal
I bet if teams knew we had him on the block there would be a small bidding war for him. This guy is a prize for the 3rd line. He blossomed a little late but he is in his prime years now and has shown a great two way game with more heart, grit and determination than the majority of players in the league. Sure he flies under the radar to the NHL fans but the GM's and coaches of the league know damn well what his true value is and it would take far more than a 3rd to acquire him. That being said, I hope he goes no where. He has become one of my favourite Canucks over the years. This team will always need a little bit of Jannik Hansen

DownUndaCanuck
He's gotten better every single season, and if this trend continues will be a 20 goal scorer. One of the best 3rd liners in the NHL, and can easily fill a hole in our top-6 when someone like Booth gets injured. Hansen isn't going anywhere. Canuck Surfer
You reckon there is a better 3rd line forward for $1.3 mill anywhere? A couple guys in Hansen's class just got big pay raises! Nor, considering we're up against the cap, can we afford to get rid of him. If there is a better 3rd liner at that salary, their not available. kanucks25
I don't understand why I see so many posts suggesting that we trade Hansen. I feel like I'm a watching a different team than these people.

Henrik Kesler
Trade a 3rd liner with top 6 upside on a $1.3 mil contract for a 3rd? Are you mad? You do realize how rare a 40+pt 3rd line player is, right? Hansen is one of the Canucks most consistent forwards and has gotten better each year.
