bassetgreg
Possible Canuck? Brad Boyes, Ilya Bryzgalov, other best remaining NHL free agents | Home Ice - SI.com
Plum
Wrong spot. We won't be able to afford him though if we want to sign Tanev.
DeNiro
If he comes at no more than 2 mil we could definitely use his skill. I'm not sure the Canucks would be looking at forwards right now though. Too many holes on D still.
Outsiders
I don't see him here.Plus he will want to much and we don't have the cap space

Nuxfanabroad
If he took a reasonable hit, it's rather tantalizing...Imagine how the eastern media would slag on this guy, should he wear Canuck colours.. After all his coach-griping/post-buyout.
Keslerific
I would rather let Tanev sit in limbo for now and sign Grabovski. If he was willing to take 3.5 mil for 3 years we are set up for cup runs for the rest of the Sedin prime. Stick Booth on Ltir and have some money to sign Alberts and Tanev. elvis15
I was under the impression Booth was not even skating yet. Is he on LTIR now?
silver_surfer
It's not the worst idea around, and at 2.5 for 1 year, it could be a win win. Grabo does well, and cashes in next year when the cap goes up. Canucks get an upgrade on Mason Raymond. I would think that it all depends on the health of David Booth. If he's not ready to start the season and can be placed on LTIR say until Christmas, there is a chance the canucks could add 2.5 million plus 1.25 for Tanev. You wouldn't likely see Horvat Gaunce or Shinkaruk in the lineup, but I'd be ok with that. Sedin Sedin Kassian Grabovski Kesler Burrows Booth Schroeder Hansen Higgins Richardson Weise Pretty decent forward lineup IMO

Drouin
Maybe but that's mean no Tanev unless he signs cheap
TOMapleLaughs
Don't really have a use for Grabovski here. If he drives Carlyle crazy, how do you think Torts will react?
shinkaruk98
He would be a nice fit, can play third line with Higgy and Hansen move up to the second or even play first with the sedins, but it must be the right price..
