Of interest They have a "Hockey 101" link on their main page for fans who need to learn "what is hockey" and "what are the rules". Also - they are offering ticket packages at $69.00 for 2 tickets!! Vancouver fans can only dream!! Very few comments on the Nucks players but some rather scathing assessments of their own players. Ovy traditionally does awful against Luongo, has repeatedly said he is the hardest goalie to score on. So a shut down Ovy, means an L (loss) for tonight. We haven't won in Vancouver in 12 years, but we might have a bounce-back game. It depends on how many times Ersk will be out of position and flop around on the ice for no reason Maybe a group therapy session to reveal their true feelings, exorcise their inner demons, and cry on each others shoulders? What about leaving the sanitary napkins in the locker room and wearing real, over-sized man-cups? ^^^^I don't see how this helps at all. Wouldn't that just make them feel more inadequate? Tonight the D is playing pretty well, they're skating decent, but 1 shot from the offense this period.. If they ever do get offense, the D excrements the bed.. Very similar Vancover getting away with late cross check crap to the backs of the Caps players. I don't like it Thought they played solid two way hockey in the 1st. However, Alzners 70's style porn star mustache is creepy OMG, what a lame call on Wilson, that Canuck fell over like a duck and sold that call. What is this, have we all of a sudden become a conservative team now that we are tied, geeze, can we get a little better forecheck rather then 2 shots and out? Kesler’s goal Neuvy has to hold that! Too soft What a bunch of lazy asses on the first line to give up an easy goal. Neuvy with 2 soft goals tonight but the first line just standing around flat footed. ;Does Ovy feel he doesn't have to do anything on d ;If Green and Carlson are not the two laziest skaters on the face of this earth, I don't know who are. Flipping and flopping like dolphins at Seaworld The first line sucks when they have to play D. Then Carlson doesn't clear the zone. Bullexcrement On Daniel's Goal I agree neuvy is playing like a bumb today, but that last goal shows you why our top line isn't a playoff performing top line. That was complete domination and no physicality at all Nice play Oleksy. We can't ******* play simple hockey. Instead we try to battle skills with Vancouver. Stupid is as stupid does Man, to have a top line that could dominate the zone like that.. Only time our top line scores is on a break or transition. They rarely "work" for a goal in o zone.. I don't think this is very justified, since they've added some decent depth (Ward, Chimera, Laich, Brouwer, Grabovski, Wilson) to complement the top guys, which they have lots of (Ovie, Backstrom, Johansson, Green, Carlson) and once they find the right mixture I'd say look out for them. At least on paper they look legit talent-wise, but with buy-in from everyone for the playoffs they can really do well (though Ovie's been known to not do well in defensive systems, but I digress on that). What's more, Ovie had Lu beat when Mo-Jo fed him in the 2nd, he just hit the post. Had that one gone in I think the result might have been different. I don't think they're that far away. Also they were really quick and have a great two way game. I was really surprised. This is an unpopular opinion of mine on this board, but I think MG is one of the best GMs in the league, just maybe not the best at making trades (Kassian verdict still open).
