CanucksCaptain
With all the injuries we got and with Henrik now injured, what is the possibility of calling up Horvat? I remember that Calgary recalled Bartschi a couple years back from jr. on emergency basis. Does anybody know much about this emergency call up rule? AriGold
They won't do it, with Archibald and Ferriero in the AHL they will and should leave him be for the season.
Nuxfanabroad
Even Welsh or Pelletier could sub in for a bit. We allow the best fruit to ripen on the branch.

Legend Killer
Bo apparently has a lower body injury, left the game Sunday. Yeah. We need him healthy in London.
oldnews
I don't think this qualifies as an 'emergeny' call up situation. There are a number of players in Utica that are healthy and able to step onto the roster.
RonMexico
I'm not saying that we should. I'm only asking if we "could" http://www.nhl.com/nhl/en/v3/ext/pdfs/2012-13_RuleBook.pdf
CanucksCaptain
http://www.nhl.com/n...13_RuleBook.pdf Wow thanks, but I wasn't planning on working as a NHL referee as my profession
CatsPajamas
All I read was "Emergency call up - Horvat." Had to change my diaper.
Baggins
You have to exhaust all call up options from the farm team before you can do an emergency junior call up. In other words, if your farm team would be left short of a full roster, you can call a player up from junior. If players from the farm team are available you can't call up a player from junior. Or, more simply put (since the OP doesn't like to read) if we're short a player on the minimum roster and calling up a player from the farm would leave them short of the minimum roster, only then could we call up a junior prospect. a Fool
Wow thanks, but I wasn't planning on working as a NHL referee as my profession I don't think reading the rule book is required to be an NHL official anyway.
Crimson-JH
Um, we have Jensen in the AHL and Schroeder is coming back pretty soon...
trevor corey
Even IF we had to resort to calling up a Junior, I would go for Fox over Horvat at this point. I would not risk Horvat yet.

CanucksCaptain
Well you should rethink that, the league needs you! it's a easy job. just call everything against the canucks
apollo
I don't think reading the rule book is required to be an NHL official anyway. Not at all. All you have to do is prove you are a true California team supporter or boston or Pittsburgh fan. Also you have to prove hatred for vancouver and often hand out 7 minute 5 on 3s vs the canucks. That's all. Seems legit.
Dak72
http://www.nhl.com/n...13_RuleBook.pdf Hey Ron...perhaps you could send this out to all the NHL officials while you're linking it for people. I'm guessing a few of them could use the re-read.
