Tony Romo
Also where would this team be with Kevin Pillar and Ryan goins. Two unsung heros for the team and no way we are making the playoffs without them.

RUPERTKBD
West is such a dud. Complete crap. Joe West ladies and gentlemen. West fking up the Blue Jays again West bollixed the original call, but once they go to review, he doesn't have the call anymore. It's decided by a "war room" somewhere. They probably decided that there wasn't enough clear cut evidence to overturn. Luckily it didn't matter in the end. Also where would this team be with Kevin Pillar and Ryan goins. Two unsung heros for the team and no way we are making the playoffs without them. I'll add Estrada to that list. For a team to go far, you need some guys to have career seasons, (Donaldson) and guys to have breakout seasons, (KP, Goins, Estrada) Couple with that, no-one is having an off year. (Hutch notwithstanding) Joey Bats and Edwing are their usual dominant selves and Buehrle and Dickey are about where we thought they'd be.

ShakyWalton
Speaking of players running into each other. That was a scary incident between the Cardinals outfielders. They say he has a bruised head.... St. Louis Cardinals rookie Stephen Piscotty was carted off the field Monday night following a violent collision with teammate Peter Bourjos. In a frightening scene at PNC Park, Piscotty lay motionless on the grass in left-center field for several minutes. He was strapped to a backboard and waved his left hand as he was driven away, eliciting a big cheer from the Pittsburgh crowd. Piscotty has a bruise on his head and all tests conducted were negative, the Cardinals said. He will be held overnight at a hospital for observation. RUPERTKBD
@ShiDavidi: #BlueJays and #Orioles postponed. Single admission doubleheader at 4 tomorrow. So, no champagne tonight. Hopefully the Red Sox can beat the Yanks tonight (Assuming that one isn't a rain out as well) and the Jays can clinch in game 1 at Camden.

RUPERTKBD
So the real question is, do the Jays party after game 1 tomorrow or wait until game 2 is finished Probably depends on what happens with the Royals. Kevin Barker made a good point today on Baseball Central: In essence, the Jays are a .500 team on the road, but 25 games over at home. Home field advantage throughout the playoffs could be huge. Gibby is going to have to do a balancing act, getting the regulars a day off here and there while still trying for the best record in the AL. In a nutshell, the partying will have to be kept within reason for the time being.
