Salacious Crumb
12 hours ago, oldnews said: Looking at today's lineup, the Jays had 6 straight 20 home run hitters in the lineup: Donaldson Encarnacion Bautista (technically, 19, but he's missed 150ish at bats) Martin Tulowitzki Saunders (with Upton also at the 20hr mark - and Smoak at 14 in 292 at bats). Travis hitting over .300. Pillar aint half bad either. That's a nasty lineup. If they can get the rotation rolling... Similar fire power to '92 and '93 now if as you say the pitching could level up... "Touch 'em all Edwing!"
Down by the River
The Jays pitching has been the best thing about the Jays this year, IMO. Their offense has been the disappointment. Lots of HR at the expense of playing the right way. The last week has been a positive step in the right direction in terms of doing what's needed to have post-season success. Would really help the Jays if the Tigers lose but its kinda fun watching Ventura fall apart for the Royals. YummyCakeFace
Gotta love Donaldson. So much like a hockey player. Focussed. Intense. Not afraid of getting his nose dirty. An honorary Canadian. Even has a Canadian last name.

numb3r 16
Not surprised we can't score a run here...we usually can't score the game after we blow out a team. Edited September 24, 2016 by numb3r

Down by the River
Just me or is the turf at Rogers looking pretty loose in the infield? Would be worried about a guy spraining a knee or something.

coastal.view
well it was good to see stroman pitch a strong game he has been so erratic this year... he was supposed to be the ace and he likely only now rates as the jay's 4th best starting pitcher this year

Is there even one big Euro club playing soccer on that stuff?
