hockeyville88
It'll be interesting to see how Canada does at this tournament especially given that we have iced nowhere close to our A roster

Bombastik der Teutone
this will be a tough tournament for germany without ehrhoff, sulzer, seidenberg, goc and some of the best german hockey league players. so the hopes going to the youngsters like draisaitl , noebels and kahun. grubauer might get a spot since he impressed with a shutout against russia in a exhibition game felix schütz (KHL) could be the leader for the team but there is only one goal this year...avoid the relegation

gmen81
Didn't this tournament used to start earlier. I remember players coming over after getting knocked out in round 1 and Canada had already played a couple games.
touchable
Wow Canada is icing a really young roster this year. Only veteran forwards I see on there are Chimera, Brouwer, Burrows, and Ward (does Turris count as a veteran now? he's still pretty young). The back end is fairly young as well with the exception of the two Canucks, This could bode well for future Olympics, if NHL players continue to go. The young Canadian players will have some experience on the big ice and against international competition.
Average Joe
Goalie is going to be the Canada's Achilles heel.
