Yes, BRO, he did negotiate that clause, and the team agreed to it. From the crap you are spouting here, I am guessing that anybody who is foolish enough to enter into a contract with you, expecting you to keep your word, is doomed to be disappointed.

As far as personality issues go, I could be wrong, but from reading your posts it sounds to me like you are projecting.

I don’t even care anymore, no need to get personal man. You stated your case, I stated mine. You bring up good points but it’s like he rubs me the wrong way, hope I’m wrong.

The only contracts on D we are tied into are with Myers, Schmidt, and of course Hughes.

Everyone one else is at loose ends or expires.

at 1.5 m this season Chara is also a UFA ,

just sayin.

would I rather have Chara here than Edler?

hmmm ?

and considering Tryamkin theoretically signs as well ?

our D is in the perfect position of deconstruction to construct something very positive.

I think so too Sam. My post was in reference to the infamous Burrows thread.

It’s a perfect time to bring in the reinforcements on defence as we have several expiring contracts. I think Tryamkin would look good playing with Schmidt.

Hughes can play with Hamonic unless we find a better upgrade. Juolevi can play with Myers. Rathbone can be the swing man. That gives us a lot of depth.

Bringing Edler back may work if they want to keep Rathbone in Utica one more year playing with Woo.

Have always appreciated your input and humour EP :)

but possibly, if Chara has a year left in him as a mentor , play 50% of games, and have him available to us for playoff contention..

could be another bird in the hand ( big bird) ;)

one that could bring wisdom and guidance to even Myers and Schmidt.

1- 1.5 m for a year?

Russian connection Tryamkin Podz Chara,.

and if Zhukenov has a good camp..

Vancouver property dman that’s at least a bottom pairing/penalty killer that’s 6’7” 250, can skate and physically dominate opposing forwards. I mean I wouldn’t mind giving him a chance instead of re-signing or getting a comparable guy to Benn on the market. I almost don’t understand the people that question bringing him in. Why wouldn’t you? It’s not like he’ll be expensive.

he's played for 4 teams in his 23 seasons. what do they all have in common?

What does it matter?

perhaps a coaching job / trainer comes out of it..  we need one of those too.
