Dutch_Canuck
Should get some more minutes now that McDavid is out. Does anyone happen to know which line he plays on currently? And does he kill penalties as well?
Plum
He played on the 3rd line when McDavid was playing. Strome will probably jump to the 1st line and Pettit to the 2nd line, maybe they'll push someone to centre, DeBrincat might go to 2nd line C but he's 5'7. canucklehead44
Already surpassed last year's goal totals. Not expecting him to be any more than a fourth liner but it is nice to see he has some skill. Even big, defensive oriented 4th liners typically score in junior and in the minors to make it to the NHL.
Plum
Some players game just transition well to to the NHL. You need to develop these type of players because even though they are available from FA or trade, you might pay more in FA and you're giving up a pick or prospect or something for a player you could have developed. Sure this pick is a low reward but there isn't a bad pick in the 6th round and if he becomes a NHLer you're atleast feeling good. He put up 32 points in 30 games in midget, he played on Jared McCann's and Spencer Watson's team. He was also a 2nd round in midget so maybe he'll be a player who can put up 20-30 points and just score greasy goals. Pettit is 6'4 and 200 pounds, that's good size. I think Pettit has potential to be a bottom 6 player.
wshdrvvn
Has to prove he has SOME offense in his game. CA likes to make the higher juniorPPG = better NHL potential argument which i hardly agree with but for guys not putting up points, the comparison is fairly telling. elvis15
Not sure where it's coming from but good for him. Also, I saw all the tweets for the different prospects earlier but I'm glad you took the time to post them so I didn't have to.
Derp...
He's playing with better linemates now. He's on a line with Remi Elie I believe. Look like he has another gear which is great to see. Just noticed he was the 3rd star tonight as well. Obviously had a strong game. Considering he was against guys like Crouse, McKeown, and McEneny
