Power Fist
I feel that we underestimate the ability of the Sedins and their passion to succeed. These guys are elite players and could push this team under the right coach to be a serious playoff team any year for the next three years. They still have a lot to prove and want to do it in Van City. I keep hearing rebuild. This is more a re-tool. I'm waiting to see what happens with UFA on Tuesday to see what Benning and Linden are up to. This team will struggle to bond in the first month but by 15 games in we will see what will happen with the season.
westcoast
I'm a pro rebuilder and even I would be shocked at that.
Me_
Given that we are not in full rebuild, but really not seriously going to contend for a few years, should we move the twins to a contender in the East for some high end future talent? They deserve a cup and I can't imagine walking into this season that they are very excited about their chances. We could really score some deep future talent with them. I don't think Benning, Linden, Desjardins nor either Sedins would agree with you.
Brick Tamland
I don't think Benning, Linden, Desjardins nor either Sedins would agree with you. We will see. This team cannot compete with the top 4 in our conference and there are not the available players in UFA to make the difference.
ShakyWalton
When you can never beat three of the six other teams in your division, you are far away from making the playoffs. and beating those other 3 teams could be real tough next year.
terrible.dee
I don't think the Sedin's will play after this contract is up. They finish up with us, play a few years with MoDo, and call it a career,
24K PureCool
Stop trying to make us the new oilers. We need veterans and classy people like the Sedins mentoring our young guns. We all seen what happens when a team only have young players and no established veterans to lead the way.
DrChill
Sedin don't want out. If they did they would of been moved already. Done Lock it up
c-a-n-u-c-k-s
When you can never beat three of the six other teams in your division, you are far away from making the playoffs. The Winnipeg Jets beat SJS and ANA regularly last year. It's not as black & white as you're painting it.

HockeyHobo73
If Trevor Linden can be traded away from Vancouver, then so can the Twins.
doobiedoodoo
Didn't Hank say last year that if the Canucks had to rebuild, they would want to be apart of it? They are not going anywhere.
Rex425
They know the word "Respect" unlike some players.
zombieksa
It won't happen, but if there was one team that I think would be a good fit for them and is a young up and coming team it is Columbus. Sedin - Sedin - Hartnell Dubinsky - Johansen - Horton That is a hell of a top 6 going forward.
Jiggs50
Never ever going to happen. But let's hypothetically they are willing to waive, where would they go? What team can generate 14 million in cap space. What team??

RUPERTKBD
First of all, it isn't a sign of "respect" when you ask players to waive their NMCs, especially players who have indicated that they want to play their entire careers in Vancouver. Second, what contender has 14 million in Cap space?
