2016 NHL Entry Draft [June 24-25th || Buffalo, New York]

Recommended Posts

I think the Canucks would actually have a chance at drafting in the top 10 this year. We've got plenty of depth and role players, the rest are all young players who are looking to make the team. Don't see the Canucks doing well and I'm okay with it as long as we don't end up like the Oilers.

depends on injuries... If henrik goes down for a long period of time we are done.

Obviously not.

I was not no. Thought he was American. Can someone confirm.

Looks like he was born in Florida but has duel citizenship?

Yep. Don't think he's decided on who he'll play for internationally yet, as the u-17 challenge isn't a final verdict. He played for Team Ontario there

I think we should prepare for the worst regardless.

This year, Edmonton is the team to beat, and when I say beat, I mean lose. I would hate for them to nab another first overall.

  • 4 weeks later...

Looking at Chychrun's record, is anyone else a little worried about his injury record? Say we draft him and he ends his career very early due to already being injury prone?

Just assuming, he hasn't played that many games the past 2 seasons and hasn't attended many international camps :/

Not really. Bpa .

Then he'll brake our hearts and go play for USA at the Olympics ala Brett Hull.

Ok I'll re word my statement.

Green is the best Canadian BORN defenseman available in the 2016 draft. It's still really early though.

Does it really matter? Crychun will play for team canada, also its all up in the air right now who is the best Canadian born defence. I remember a scouting report with jake bean as the second best dman in the draft.

I don't think Jake Bean will be the best defenseman.

I think there are going to be a couple Webers or Provorovs in this draft that we haven't really heard of yet.

I can't sleep, imma do some paper scouting.
