RK7Teen
http://www.thescore.com/nhl/news/780077 The Detroit Red Wings are apparently opening their prospect cupboard as they approach the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. The Red Wings were relatively quiet at the trade deadline partially because they didn't want to deal 2013 first-round pick Anthony Mantha or their 2015 first-round pick. Detroit is now willing to consider parting with those pieces, according to Sportsnet's Damien Cox. Expectations regarding Mantha were high following back-to-back 50-goal seasons in the QMJHL, but he recorded 33 points in 62 games with the Grand Rapids Griffins in his first professional season and added four points in 16 playoff contests. While that bumpy AHL debut isn't likely to hurt Mantha's trade value, the franchise no longer considers him untouchable like they once did. Detroit holds the 19th overall pick at the draft.
