Brooklyn at LA Clippers on TSN at 1pm Today…the reason the game is on so early today is the Red Wings play LA Kings Tonight, wish I lived in LA sometimes because you can go to an NBA and NHL game in the same day lol

Not the same thing obviously, but years ago when I was managing a bar here in PR, the area Labatts rep took me down to Vancouver as a sort of thank you...

We started off the evening watching the Lions lose to Doug Flutie and the Stampeders (from Labatts' private box in BC Place) and then went straight to the Pacific coliseum. just in time to see Petr Nedved open the scoring on a win over the Oilers....

Finished the night off with several pitchers of beer at a restaurant close to the arena....don't remember the name, but they had baskets of peanuts still in the shell and everone just tossed the empty shells on the floor. There were big gaps in the floorboards and they could just sweep them so that they would fall through...

Sacked a coach- because this loser wanted it?

Brutal organization.

At least they have the balls to hold Kyrie accountable for his bigotry.  Nash is probably a lot happier now; that gig would have been tough for Pat Riley, let alone a rookie head coach.

Anyone catch the "debate" between Shaq and Barkley the other day?

Shaq has this theory that because he was driving and the moon was in front of him and then later behind him, there must be two moons. Sir Charles pointed out that both the vehicle and the moon are moving, so Shaq's "theory" is as dumb as it sounds......

Of course, it's possible that the Big Diesel is joking......lets hope so...

Good article from SI looking back at the Vancouver Grizzlies:

The Long-Forgotten First Chapter of the Grizzlies

With one of the best young cores in the NBA, today’s team has a bright future. But the franchise’s past—a vexing, six-year stay in Vancouver—is just as intriguing.

"Stern would later admit to ESPN the Grizzlies marked one of his deepest regrets. “As it turned out,” he said, “I wish we hadn’t had the Vancouver experience. Great city—and we disappointed them, and we disappointed ourselves.”"

Gotta wonder how far up the NBA rankings this trade takes Dallas, when they already had Luka Magic.
Milwaukee, Denver, Boston and maybe Cleveland/ Philly/ Memphis would be the upper echelon that the Mavs probably belong in now, even though their defense might be lacking compared to some of these contenders.
