CANUCK-EXPRESS
Wanted Rattie first but I'm ok with Boucher as well. Welcome to the team.

Mackcanuck
"His versatility of being able to play LW and RW, and his age of 23 makes sense for the Canucks. It gives them a forward who has shown that he can keep up at the NHL level. If they can provide the forward with a larger role, there may be more to give. Looking at his underlying numbers, Boucher has produced at a second line rate for his career, and his shot generation rate is very favourable." http://canucksarmy.com/2017/1/4/canucks-claim-reid-boucher-on-waivers

smithers joe
carolina picked before canucks. ... boucher is free. if he doesn't show anything, they can put him back on waivers.
SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME
I like this claim. Wanted to nab him on the previous waivers round. I would liked to have gotten Rattie. But that doesn't mean I'm unhappy with Boucher.

I don't think so. It's by standings order and Carolina is ahead of the Canucks. They have 39pts like the Canucks but in less games putting them behind in the waiver priority list. That's what they said in Milwaukee - great shot. In Nashville his foot-speed was apparently a bit too slow for their system.
mll
The team now has 2 extra Fs and 1 extra D. When Hansen is ready to come back - someone will need to be moved. Only Gaunce is waiver exempt among the Fs.

Doesn't appear to be with him being scrathed and missing most of the season. Knee's are tricky. Hopefully he is but I have my doubts.
