Eriksson Burmistrov  Vanek

Gagner  Sutter  Virtanen

Rodin

Waive Boucher

Hutton  Tanev

Edler   Stecher

MDZ  Guddy

Wiercioch  Biega

PP1

Sedin

Sedin

Gagner

Boeser/Vanek

MDZ

PP2

Eriksson

Horvat

Granlund

Vanek/Boeser

Stecher

(I have always thought we should rest dmen during PP time and only play one)

PK1

Sutter

Granlund

Horvat

Tanev

Hutton

I think Virtanen needs to play more minutes and can start on PK2.  As injuries occur he moves up the lineup when ready.

its really nice of the nhl to let Vancouver have 5 players on the ice when we have a penalty  lol

I like that starting  lineup based on who is here.

As much as I have always liked Upshall as a player, it seems that his legs aren't what they used to be and that Virtanen has been the better player and has earned his spot on this team.

The only other thing I could see is if Benning wants to sign Upshall and let Virt be the first call up but that would be sending the wrong message imo and Gaunce will be back in November so there needs to be a spot for him so to me the PTO's haven't made enough of an impression.

I really liked Granlund on the Sedin line when he was with them last year, he seemed to be the spark plug to do the digging so to me that is exactly who needs to be on that line.

One thing I've noticed is people asking if Bo Horvat is the top line centre.  I think when other teams top shutdown line plays yours, that makes your line the top line.  I dont think the Sedins will be targeted as much this year and they will go after Bo's line more.

That could be one of the best 4th lines in hockey - Sutter is responsible and great on draws and Gagner is a smart player and if Virtanen can be an agent of chaos, that line could be a really tough match for many teams in the league expecting pluggers.

Virtanen - Bo - Boeser

Sedin - Sedin - Eriksson

Baertschi - Gagner - Vanek

Burmistrov - Sutter - Granlund

I'd like to see them spread the size and skill across all four lines. Virt Bo Brock seem like a dominant line waiting to happen. Virt and Bo bring size and speed and can cause havoc and create space for Brock and his shot.

Burmistrov - Sutter - Granlund could be a gritty shutdown line that chips in 55-60 goals this year.

Green has been using Sutter as a shutdown line.  It doesn't really matter on what line he is listed.  He will play a lot and not against 4th liners but instead will take the d-zone draws vs the top scoring lines.

You are close

Something like this looks good

Baertschi - Bo - Granlund  ---------  2A

Sedin - Sedin - Boeser  -------------  2B

Erikson - Sutter-Vanek  -------------  3A

Burmistrov -Gagner - Rodin  ------  3B

Dorsett

Goldy Dahlen Virtanen are first 3 callups as to which one deserves it most by their play in the "A"

I'm still going with:

Sedin, Sedin, Granlund

Eriksson, Horvat, Boeser/Rodin

Baer, Gagner, Vanek

Burmistrov, Sutter, Dorsett/Virtanen

If Boeser make it, Rodin's likely 13th F to start.

Edler, Stecher

Hutton, Tanev

MDZ, Gudbransoon

Wiercioch, Biega

Markstrom, Nilsson

I don't think that lines will even be set once the season starts lol

But I think I could see something where Dorsett and Rodin rotate games unless Greener wants to sit one of the other 11 for a reason

I think JV Goldy Dahlley will start in Utica

But i'm going with a top 6 where BB and Granny can swap at any time

As well as a bottom six that can also be interchangeable

Baertschi - Bo - Granlund  ---------  2A

Sedin - Sedin - Boeser  -------------  2B

Erikson - Sutter-Vanek  -------------  3A

Burmistrov -Gagner - Rodin  ------  3B

Dorsett

Why do you have 5 man PK units?

That's about how I'd call it, except perhaps for swapping Sutter and Burmistrov.  Sutter needs at least one playmaker with him, so unless Rodin is his winger, Gagner and Vanek may be better-suited.

Why is everyone keeping the Sedins together?

Maybe a new coach will do something different?

I have heard it said, that they appear to ignore, a more open team mate that is open to score, and look for the other to join in scoring

Why can't a new coach recognise it and split them up?

Now you would have Sedins on different lines competing harder to keep up with the other scoring (maybe)

Maybe it refreshes them with new line mates in playing a new game and be less predictable and add speed on their line maybe

Reunite them on the power play to keep them happy and re-invigorate them being together again

The Canucks are going through changes, I don't see why the Sedins can't either?

I would like to see what would happen for 5 games (at least) and let others play with them seperately
