The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed the following players:

Miroslav Svoboda: $800k x 2

Matt Luff: $900k x 3

Gilles Senn: $800k x 3

Kale Howarth: $775k x 3

@Tylez

@Nail

Very happy to add some youth to the lineup in the AHL and hopefully added to to the NHL one day.

With these signings, we would like to use our last ELC Slide on Kale Howarth

PLAYER AGES HAVE BEEN ADDED TO THE SHEETS.

Couple things:

1) Ages are taken from nhl.com and should update when the website updates on player's birthdays. These formula's don't work too well on Google Sheets, so for best usage please use this mobile friendly link when on mobile: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18Mx2qBtjr-VWRC4dozwOFYRkR8VmkBj3BYJZONHWn9c/pubhtml#

2) There are a couple scenarios where a players age will not come up, due to their age being removed from their NHL.com page. Through experiment, I've figured out the following:

#REF means the player has been on an NHL team before, or had his rights owned by an NHL team before. However, at this time, no team owns their rights. This may help teams figure out which of their players haven't been signed yet or maybe some that have signed in Europe that they haven't noticed yet.

#ERROR! means that the player is not yet in nhl.com's system. This would be because that player was/is undrafted, and an NHL team has never owned their rights. These players can include recent draftees in our league, signed NCAA players and players signed out of Europe.

3) Waiver eligibility has now been moved from the far right hand side of the sheet, closer to the players names on the left. It is denoted by the green arrow, and the note on the cell will say how much longer the player is waiver ineligible for.

Hopefully these changes will help enhance the spreadsheets! If anyone has any other ideas that they think would work well on the spreadsheets, feel free to let me know!

RELEASE: the Vancouver Canucks would like to release Brendan Ranford as he has signed with the DEL's Eisbären Berlin

https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/24082/brendan-ranford

Thank you very much. There appears to also be some news about him playing in the NLL at some point in time as he was drafted into an expansion lacrosse team this summer. lol, but for now he has a contract to play hockey with the Ice Bears.

Nail, can we release Simon Stransky and Alexander Polunin? neither player was ever drafted in North America and has no ties to the NHL while they currently have contracts in Czech Republic and KHL resespectively...not sure of our rules here but if we can release them, we will sadly do so. Thank you

Stransky has been released, Polunin was signed without a contract in North America, so you cannot terminate his contract.

Damn, some pretty big coin for Forsberg. Kravtsov is gonna be a great player. Nice one Drouin.
