The blue version needs an upgrade but nevertheless, it should be the primary look for the 50th anniversary season going forward. Have Henrik pass the captaincy torch to BoHo with this iconic sweater like Orland Kurtenbach passing that same torch to Henrik in 2010. Now, that's building tradition and an identity. 2

I thought these were really nice once I got used to the change. The logo is more striking in these colours and the striping was the perfect fusion of classic and futuristic. Still, the new uniforms are as close to perfection as we're going to get as long as we stick with the Orca*. *Which I am not opposed to 1

Obviously I was in my peak little-boy-fandom when they wore these, but I always secretly liked the colour scheme (and the graphic orca looks way more stylized with its original colours). I would not be opposed to a revamped third jersey in this style, tbh. Doubt it would ever happen. The Orca Bay uniforms. Worst era in Canucks history. MoneypuckOverlord
what about the sweeping changes that was rumored to happen? Its just like the same jersey we had the past 10 years. overall I hate it, I want a totally new design. If it looks the same from the back to me its the same jersey, sure they moved the Vancouver words, but still. 1

So are cedar trees, salmon, rain and the ocean, but they have nothing to do with a Canuck and don't belong on the uniform. The logo should match the nickname and a whale is not a Canuck. EVERY other team in the NHL has a logo that fits the team name or city. Except us...we still cling to a corporate symbol of the previous owner. What a piece of crap. Johnny Canuck or the Stick and Rink. I ain't buying anything else. A "Canuck" is a "Stick in Rink"?

The orca should remain the identity of this franchise from now until forever. Mess around with the 3rd Jersey as much as you want. Only beef I have with the skate logo is the the colours; those are not cascadian colours. I love the "stick in rink", 'C'. Throw Jonny on the shoulders and I think we have a clear, defined, representative look. The Orca isn't bad, and I love our colours, but " VANCOUVER" just looks really dumb. The jersey reads "Vancouver Orcas"... Last time I checked, Orcas are not Canucks. Some Orcas may be Canadian, sure, but Jonny Canuck looks pretty &^@#in' eh, and what's more Canadian than a stick in a rink? Don't say a maple leaf. Our Maples are much bigger and stronger than the loser, wimp maples that grow out east They changed to black away uniforms because it was thought to intimidate the opposition, as the other colors (blue, yellow, what have you, were too passive. DrJockitch
I don't mind the Orca so much, just think it needs a bit of a rehab. It looks dated. Belongs in the era of the mighty ducks mask, the weird ass Coyotes Jersey's and the horrid Grizzly jerseys. It is just a little to 90s. Still prefer the stick and rink, again though could use a bit of an update.
