This doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to be there. That’s reaching a bit. Players typically sign offer sheets knowing they will be matched. FutureFilm Posted July 1, 2019 Share Posted July 1, 2019 Definitely interesting move by Montreal. It's a calculated risk but if it pays off it will be well worth it. I feel like Carolina is gonna match but the structure of the contract is gonna make it very difficult to match in terms of money up front.
