Probably going to get flamed for this but isn’t it time we considered dropping the national anthems at the start of regular season games? Would save time and is completely meaningless to the players when half of them are from other countries.

There's been talk about it.  Remnant of when the nation was at war... of course, the politicians always keep a war going somewhere at all times.

Good play by Louie there to get the puck out of the zone and then pressure it so that our team can make a good line change.  

This fact could be easily overlooked but as we've seen this season, we're very prone to poor line changes.

It just strikes me that they seem very concerned to shorten the total

viewing time and that would be an easy way to do it. Keep them for the playoffs when it is more of an “event”.
