Canuck Luck Posted October 22, 2021 Share Posted October 22, 2021 I said it before, we need to trade Petey for Eichel while we can. Get something plus Eichel since he cant play for awhile. Petey is a disaster and I don't think paying him 7 million for bad play will help his psyche. The biggest mistake NHL GMs have done in decades is paying these snot nosed highly skilled 21 year olds huge bucks in their 2nd contract. Maybe it irritates me that Green seems to have him thinking he is a skilled guy rather than a role player. He is weak defensively and pretty bad on the pk despite the hype on here. Chiasson is a PP specialist who can’t score. 3 guys that offer nothing which means guys like Dickinson and Lammikko have to work that much harder on the bottom 6.
