I knew as soon as we were getting into a board battle 3 on 3 it was over…

Possession is key there’s no way we should ever be pinning things on a 50/60 board battle.

Find the open ice and move the puck! There’s no way it should even come to a board battle.

What year was that?  In this era the goalie needs to stop pucks at at least .910 to be average.  The last while Demko is at .880

Hes too important to us winning to be off like he has been recently.  Credit to the club for getting wins during Demko’s down time.  Shows we have a good team.  Remember when Demko plays evens with his opposite we almost always win.  But we can’t rely on the other teams’ goalies to be .880 too

Dude, Demko was the reason we got at least a point tonight. Many of the shots that came his way were very dangerous.
We are crazy spoiled by Demko’s greatness.

Maybe you shouldn’t post if you get upset enough to say to people they aren’t true fans and trolls. That’s such a cop out to shut people up. This board is meant to share your thoughts freely. It’s it meant for only positive thoughts and posts.

OK, I tried. Back to ignore.

Yeah they made a mistake. OT is always a gamble though otherwise is boring as hell then you end up in an even more boring shoot out. Is what it is

I get your point but you can’t hang this on demko.

When Demko stops pucks evens with his opposite we win.  No point in blaming Boeser, or Myers, or any other player.  Demko is our best and most important player.  He’s not been good enough recently.  The boys scored lots to cover up for him, but not tonight.  Demko needs to get back to .920 or higher.

Yeah, Wilson had Hughes’ number a bit in that game and caused enough havoc in those boards to create that turnover.

Like to add that bang for the Buck he’s been dynamite.  Hits, fight, clears the crease. Makes the opposition think twice about taking liberties.   He’s doing his job and more for his role on the team.

Yes he’s been great but there is a reason Demko has to be on all the time. The D isn’t great. They aren’t that physical. Your kidding yourself if you think he’s a third or fourth pairing dman. He’s not at this point in his career. Typical Canucks fans who just fall in love with players who do their job but they aren’t amazing.   He’s playing his role well that’s all but he’s not a top dman.

There’s still people that think if we don’t win 24 straight our season is done.

Honestly anyone who says they were confident we were gonna come away with anything going into the third down 2-0 is lying.

The win obviously would have been nice but managing losses is so key right now. It’s not like we played a complete game to earn those two points.

Take the single and get ready for an even tougher challenge on Sunday.

Totally agree with you. I'm just hoping we don't miss the playoffs by a point.

Sure, great goalies in this era stop pucks at .880

Demko would say he needs to be better.
