You just made my day, VC.

Petey's come to be more than just a scoring threat. He does other stuff that often goes unnoticed and is really developing into a great, all round player.

He’ll get the Buffalo game.

Last time we played them Demko gave up 4.

We just need Halak to not get lit up in the first and keep it to 3 goals or less.

Great opportunity for redemption for him.

I don’t think Vegas makes it. They’ve been relying on goaltending since their inception. They no longer had that the day they traded Fleury.

Yeah they’ll be long gone when we smash them for 3 games

I’m curious if Bruce will actually take Hunt out for Poolman lol

As good as Hunt has been we need to get Poolman a game to strengthen our depth.

Hughes Hamonic

OEL Myers

Poolman Schenn

Hunt, Burroughs

Pretty good depth!

Exactly why we do not need Leafs trash. Makes no sense

Well, considering that it's still Benning's roster that is on display, the same one that was considered "poorly constructed" (according to Craig Button), I think Benning left us with a pretty workable team. Button goes on to say that BB plays to the team's strengths, which actually implies that Benning had a purpose for the team to score.

Why is there so much slant against Benning when credit is due, but so much praise for Green when it's undeserved? (The latter situation is largely not the case anymore, but the former is certainly still true). The issue is and was obviously Green, which is also, to an extent, part of Benning's responsibility.

It's obvious that some posters can find the fault of a former GM much more so than the fault of other people. This bias is pretty sickening really.

Add to the fact that we all know Francesco likes to dabble in hockey opps from time to time. Money was tight and if he straight up told Benning that he wasn't going to pay for a new coach if Benning fired Green... perhaps Benning was in a no win situation. If that was the case I'd feel pretty bad for Benning right now.
