The only person I really miss is MacEwen because of him being a tough guy, but other than that, Chiasson is the type of player we should be targeting if we want bottom 6 checking forwards, not these overpriced aging vets with money and term. Hunt can move the puck soundly, can get it out of his frickin zone unlike Myers or Poolman, doesn’t throw the puck into the middle of the ice with 10 seconds left of a 1-1 game in regulation like Myers, gets pucks through the net much like OEL, and can chip in offensively. Yes he has his deficiencies, but again, he’s being paid under $1M, and he’s doing as best of a job as he can. There’s a reason why he’s still in the league.
