That’s a convenient rationale when Leafs are playing, but funny how when Canucks had their cup runs, Toronto media vilified us every chance they could.

If the leafs or the oilers or the flames win, it will be a win for their city not Canada.

The idea of a “Canada’s Team” is not the same as it is with basketball or baseball where there’s only one Canadian team. There’s 7 Canadian teams now we don’t need to stoop so low to just cheer for any Canadian team that is a contender.

How many Calgary, Edmonton, or Toronto fans were cheering for Vancouver when we were facing Boston? Pretty much BC did and that was it.

My hatred for the US is much stronger than for any Canadian team so go Flames, go Oilers, go Lea…….ah, sh!t, I just can’t vote for the Leafs.
