Well, only one team can win it all, and if I had to pick one Canadian team I'd like to do it (CGY, EDM or TOR) - I just can't.

 

Weird, been cheering for Dallas, Los Angeles and Tampa lately.

It came back to Canada when St Louis won it, more Canadians on that team than any of the Canadian teams

To be fair they've won two in a row. It's quite possible they have run out of gas.

I am amazed the amount of hate fans got for Leafs and Oilers. Granted I am new to hockey ( coming from NBA) and just moved to Vancouver last year but man lets be realistic about canadian chances of getting the cup.

 

Both Oilers and Maple Leafs are set to do serious damage in these playoffs, they are loaded with star power and obviously are built to go deep into the playoffs. It amazes me people think these teams will be out in the first round, of course not, look at the roasters look at their power rankings.

Oilers are in the division and the rivalry just developed naturally.

With Toronto...  the dislike runs deep and spans many generations lol.  Someone would have to put together a fairly lengthy post to fully explain it.
