Rubik
the type of player you hate to play against but you would love to have him on your team. He was great for the kings, well deserved.
Coconuts
If he were a Canuck I'd be against it, but I get it for the Kings The rest of the core of those cup winning teams likely get the same treatment Edited July 26, 2022 by Coconuts

His numbers don't do it for me, and I'm of the opinion that our bar for jersey retirement is too low We already have too many jerseys in the rafters for an organization without a championship

I wouldn't have retired Naslund or Bure Bure wasn't here long enough imo, despite being arguably our most electric talent ever Naslund didn't do enough as a Canuck imo, which isn't to undermine his contributions, I liked Nazzy

-AJ-
Almost 1300 games and two Cups, so it's deserved. Not a superstar player, but a heart and soul guy for the Kings. Basically Linden with less class.

Ghostsof1915
It's their team, they can retire who they like. Not a fan, but made opposing teams life more miserable. So...uhh...congrats?

Something like 1300 games for the team, captained them to two Cups. That would probably be enough for me if he scored 50 career points.

Mustard Tiger
So does this mean they are going to rename the building after quick? Maybe swap out the city LA with Kopitar?? Rename pancakes, Penners? So many questions after this decision lol
