We watched A New Hope again once Obi Wan was wrapped up. The continuity issues are obvious, but it doesn't take away from Obi Wan as a stand alone piece.

The whole franchise has taken extreme liberties in the prequels, sequels, side stories. 

They're all bastardized.

Yeah, once I was able to just watch Obi Wan as a stand alone, outside of A New Hope, I was able to enjoy it on its own merit.

Mando is great. The spaghetti western feel was refreshing. Really enjoyed it.

 

Fett? Not so much. Pretty weak. They just had to drag mando in after 3 episodes to save it because it was utter shit.
