Seems like he just stands around the crease getting in the way so may as well strap the pads on him. Have him turn his back to the play as the puck always seems to stay behind him. There is no excuse that should be given to him, versus rookie GMs like Gillis and Benning. His vision is truly bad, starting with the people he picked to help him. If this was his way of helping the Canucks to tank, then he did a great job because we suck. My bad. Thought you meant good for Aquilini.

When they retired, he knew it was time to rebuild since we had barely anything in the pipeline. It's pretty damning.
davidgoliath
Lookin’ good guys. Don’t screw it up now! (But for entertainment I wouldn’t mind someone punching out a couple of those jerks on Tampa. Since we will be losing for three years we need 2 or 3 or 10 Gino types to keep us interested.)

They could outmuscle you. They would outwork you. Pat Quinn was a fantastic motivator. How could anyone not put it all on the line for Quinn?

Canuckfanforlife82
I am just embarrassed of the fact that this team is now the laughing stock of the league right now. We have just plummeted so far to the bottom. It's going to take years to be seen as a classy and professional organization. It's so hard when the owner lacks that professional attitude and class that this franchise desperately needs. You can really tell how bad of a hockey mind he is when he hires Boudreau first, everyone else after. Everyone knew it was a big mistake. You always hire the president and gm first. He put everyone in a pickle with that move. It just shows his lack of judgement. Edited January 19, 2023 by Canuckfanforlife82

Whatever Linden’s vision was — and he was viewed as the voice of reason when it came to patiently rebuilding like the Winnipeg Jets —ownership didn’t see it his way.
