The Leafs have not played well enough to win this series. Did not deserve to be up 3-1 heading into tonight. 

 

With that effort in front of their home crowd, they should be nervous. All the pressure is squarely on them and clearly, TB has that self belief and the Leafs do not.

He even uses the term "we" when referring to an organization he never played for. We all know the media rides the milkbags jockstrap but the brazenness of it is really quite something to see.

The Leafs should still consider themselves lucky.  Despite having shaky games 3 and 4, they took advantage of weak goaltending from Vasilevskiy.  But now he's back in form, which is the worst news for Toronto.  I do think they have what it takes to break that curse, but they've just made things a lot harder for themselves.

He's crying about them losing, which is perfectly understandable for a fan, but is absolutely pathetic for an analyst who played in the NHL but never for them.
