Now how is Edler's a penalty but that isn't a penalty on McDavid?? It’s literally the same play???

It’s called “game management”. The league had a ref admit openly the refs “manage games”. Kings have to keep pressuring the Soiler D. They’ll turn pucks over.

The league firing Tim Peel as a scapegoat (when he was so close to retirement & a proper send-off) for getting caught saying what hockey fans have seen + known forever is one of the most shameful things they've done in recent memory imo.

You're missing out on your wet dream.

I can't think of a team sport where a fanbase is excited to see their rivals win.  Do you think an Everton likes it when Liverpool wins?  Do you think Flyers fans are happy that the Pens won Stanley Cups?  And of course, do you think Calgary fans aren't happy with what they're seeing now??

I don't think Edmonton considers us a rival tho, we aren't ready to take them on or considers them equals. Rivalry exists within mutual agreement and conduct, you cant be a rival if the other team is far ahead or is a cup contender. At this point its crazy to try to dismiss Oilers as Canada's top chance to win the cup, this is now beyond petty city rivrarly this is a great opportunity for us all Canadians to root for our sport, what happened to the slogan "we are all Canucks"...??
