      We have a lot of cap space.. We're fine @vinny_in_vancouver the Canucks won't be spending to cap this season anyways. Why would they? They aren't cup contenders.

      I think the league is no longer tolerating cheesy plays like that. I'm remember hearing the league was upset with Antoine Vermette resigning with the team that traded him. The league was also pissed about the deal that had Orpik traded to COL from WAS, bought out, and then resigned with the Cap.

      They especially won't like Seattle not having the best possible selection due to loop holes.

      Barzal would not beat Pettersson for a Calder race if it was next year... Or this season. 

      Pettersson is clearly better than Barzal. Barzal put up 85 with Tavares on the team and 62 without ... That matters... Boeser and Pete only had each other, really, and Boeser had Bo year 1. Brock was a heavy contender for the Calder against Barzal, as Barzal only had 22 goals in 82.

    Just tuned into the Lions game.  Both the Lions and Stamps are wearing their dark jerseys.  Hard to tell the difference.  Must be confusing as hell for the players.

      I think the biggest issue is one. Going based off of whether he's a good person or if he is statistically a good president. Also, a huge problem is people having an issue with people disagreeing. Nowadays two people with different political views assume that you can't be friends or have a civil conversation about it. 

      I don't think socialism works, that doesn't mean I'm not friends with liberals. I know Liberal gun owners who don't believe in gender inequality and I know conservatives who believe in banning semi automatic rifles in Canada. You don't have to convince anyone of anything, because you're no more right then they are.

      We want the Hawks to win. We need the team with the most points ahead of us to lose the most. 

      Dallas isn't going to fall out of that spot, it's too unlikely that they don't make it. Av's could realistically not make the playoffs.

      Stechers head shot wasn't as bad as it looked in my opinion. The elbow on EP40 was comparable to Kassians on Gagners IMO.

      You can tell Marky has bought into this team. He loves competing, and has found his groove. I doubt he wants to go anywhere. I think he's enjoying being a mentor to Demko, and looking good doing it. Keep Marky around, because if he can pass even a chunk of what he's learned from Clarke/Cloutier/Rollie. Demkos going to be a hell of a tendy.

      Just need a Vlasic type, and some a couple top 6 wingers and we have ourselves a cup.
