Interesting. I don't see us moving more than 1 dman, so if Tanev goes that hopefully means Guddy will be signed to a fair deal before the deadline. Not worth the risk of losing him to FA to a team willing to pay more. 

JB might have a lot of confidence that Juolevi will be ready to play here next year. If we lose 1-2 dmen and he isn't ready we'll be in quite a rough spot next camp.

Ya have to think Bennings mind set is not to lose both Tanev and Guddy. Therefore, if he can sign Guddy he trades Tanev, or trades Guddy if he wants to much money. Even if Juolevi is ready next season he's a LD and that matters to most coaches and players. Hopefully Benning would either trade for an NHL ready RD prospect or sign a cheap RD UFA.

That's true. Off the top of my head I'm drawing a complete blank as to who's going to be a FA next summer. I guess it's too early to go looking around the internet for a compiled list. De Haan and Carlson come to mind, obviously, but I don't know if either of them play right side. Carlson won't be cheap, and probably won't want to sign here any more than Tavares anyways.
