GDT - Canucks vs Sharks

Seems al teams have come in to the game high flying and full of speed. And we are in trouble every time. Once they slow down a bit, we get a shot at coming back onto the game. We need to come in with more speed right from the start and not let the oppisition dictate the play and pace...

Yes it is shoddy but it is the lack of any reasonable forecheck and no offensive speed in the attack that is putting so much pressure on our d-zone coverage.

Offensive attack is slow and predictable with far too much east west movement. It's like the only way thye understand to score is to gain the zone...set up...and try for the perfect corss-ice pass for the highlight reel goal. Can't any of our guys actually skate fast and beat someone one-on-one?!!

After 7 seasons as coach, AV still fails to consistenly get this team ready to play. I wonder if the sleep specialists predicted this one.

Luckily they're only down 2-0, and seem to be waking up. Hopefully they can convert on the powerplay and Schneider can shut the door.

They gotta be waaay more agressive on the puck though.

Funny how our 3rd D pairing has been the most consistent this season..

I expected Hamhuis to have been much more reliable than he has been.. When he's not going, then it makes Bieksa look even worse. And Edler Garrison I guess are getting used to each other but that shouldn't be an excuse when they're feeding the opposition with pucks to shoot on Schneider.

I know, I was cringing when I saw Kass drop the gloves with Clowe. Kass is a beast but Clowe is a monster and I thought it was going to be ugly. He held his own against arguably one of the top 2 toughest powerforwards in the league.<br />
