jstewboy
Not bad for a guy they got off waivers. Still can't believe what a terrible start he had here in Vancouver compared to what he got going in NY.
Caboose
Disappointed that Finn didn't work out. Clears a bit of an organisational log-jam though.

Putgolzin
so two seconds, two thirds and a fourth for grabner, seems like a lot.

firestorm238
Leafs gave up way too much. I think that was the idea. Clear house, get a decent and low maintenance asset back.
Fateless
Leafs gave up way too much. Not really, they gave up exactly what they meant to give up. 4 contracts - they went from 49 contracts to 45 so now they have the ability to make waiver claims or PTO's. Ossi Vaananen
Odd trade. It's like the Canucks trading away some recent b level prospects. Grabner doesn't like the pressure though, he said as much in his time here. Toronto will rip him to shreds.

Have you even heard of some of these names? Beck=Bottom 6 forward Gibson=Future Starting goalie (could step in in a year or two) Finn=7th defenseman, future bottom pair, stay at home guy Grabner=3rd liner at best with injury problems It's not a big loss, but there are many other ways to get rid of contracts. hatedkid666
Weird trade but Grabner is a good player. Arguably the fastest skater in the league

Grabner = Franchise grabner is a one trick pony...doesn't fit into canuck's style of play...he had one good season with ny...
TOMapleLaughs
Looks like it's 'now time' for TO. Unavoidable, since they put the coach in place before the effective rebuild was complete.
