I voted for Eriksson because the Stamkos chances are slim at best.

 

Probably going to get at least a 5 x 5.5 though at minimum. Which I would be fine with.

Eriksson, he will fit right into our top line for the next few seasons with the twins. If the Canucks get lucky and have drafted at least one player who can flirt with a top line role while maybe later signing a top line free agent when the twins are wrapping their careers up it wont be so bad......will it ?

Odds aside, I'd go with Stamkos, as it would put us in an instant position to be competitive and possibly even contend again.

Subban and Dubois to the Oilers, got that feeling. Lucic I don't think end of the day he goes to Vancouver but Eriksson does.

That's a tough choice but  if Benning were to sign Eriksson for 4 years at 5 mil per, that would be my winner. Benning would be GM of the year if he did in fact sign Stamkos to that deal. So half of my vote goes to Eriksson and the other half to Stamkos.

Well, it says if I had the decision, so I decide Stamkos. Yes, expensive, but it would put a little fear in CGY and EDM for years and that's priceless.

Normally I'd be voting for the rebuild but those contracts (as written in the poll) are just too appealing to pass on.

 

Probably Ericsson represents the best value at $5 million x 4 years. Even a rebuilding team shouldn't pass on that deal.

 

Sign Lucic too. $5.5 million is a hometown discount on that five year term.
