[Signing] Canucks sign Micheal Ferland

Cool but how do we have the space for this.

My concerns exactly. Obviously we'll have to move players down to Utica, but this makes things pretty tight with very little wiggle room. Depending on the contract here, I'm not sure how I feel about this idea.

Just heard this on SN 650.....did not see this coming.  Hope it’s a nice cheap deal. Go get em GMJB.  Must be a trade going out you would think.

Well if this is true, something is obviously in the works trade wise.

Don’t see how we’d have the room for both him and Boeser right now.

woah, always kind of wanted Ferland, but was worried what he'd cost. Bit worried about our cap space at the moment

People have been saying we are trying to make space to sign Ferland for a while.

Like the player, though he's oft injured.

Hopefully term and money are good...team has a whole new identity with Miller, Myers, Benn and Ferland. Nobody is going to be pushing around Petey and Boeser.

Miller-Petey-Boeser

Baertschi/Pearson-Horvat-Ferland

Going to guess 4 years x 4-5 mill per year.
