who cares if Jake went to Vegas during his break? the local media is making it sound like he showed up to a game drunk. And they claim "the fans" will be outraged. Sometimes I really hate our local hockey media trying to stir up bs.

Do you let a player's personal life/views affect if you're a fan or want them on your favorite team?
I'm talking political ideologies, criminal record or run-ins with the law, personality and opinions, etc.

@smithers joe It was actually Mike Gillis that made the deal to trade Diaz for the 5th round pick. In fact, I believe it was the last deal that Gillis ever made before getting canned. So I guess you could say that it was a nice parting gift by Mike.

Oiler fans are an interesting breed. On a lot of the Canuck-related tweets I see, there's almost always some uppity Oiler fan going "lol canucks suck!!1". It's interesting just how many of them seem to have forgotten about the last decade or so of pure suckage the Oilers were before fluking into McJesus.

Losing interest in this season fast. I really don't care how veterans like Eriksson, the Sedins, Sutter, Gagne and Vanek do. So sue me.

Who was a greater goalie for the Canucks? Luongo or Miller?
I am biased because I only became a Canucks fan towards the end of Lu's tenure, so I am abstaining from a vote. I am seen folks on here post on both sides; I'm curious to see more opinions.

I'm a big fan of the Coyotes and the Wild. Fave players include Vladimir Tarasenko, Mikael Granlund, Sebastian Aho, Jakub Voracek, and Patrik Laine.

@Cramarossa good question. It all depends on how long they've been with the team and how they left. For example, I still hope that guys like Bieksa and Burrows do well but not a guy like Kesler (obvious reasons) or someone like Matt Bartkowski (only played one season with the Canucks) or Cramarossa for that matter

I have the same feeling as @TimberWolf. I also hate every other team that's not the Canucks. I also don't care for individual players, I respect all the superstar players and their talents but I'm not fans of them. Unless they're wearing the Canuck colors of course.

As they should, the Leafs and Oilers have got a whole decade of sucking on the Canucks. That's a whole lot of sucking. Also, the Atlanta/Winnipeg franchise has only made the playoffs twice since 1999, that's also a lot of sucking. The fact that we have something on the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked is a good thing.
