    if someone says defense matters in hockey, they aren't implicitly saying that scoring doesn't. It would be odd to respond to "defense matters" by bringing up all other things that also matter in hockey.

    well first off not everyone treats the western media like a single entity. Also, the insinuation that non western media is not full of $&!# is laughable.
